Today is the 7 year anniversary of the 911 attacks on the United States.  As I reflect on that day, and the way the world has changed since then, I am reminded of one word, “Fortitude.”

I, like many of you, remember exactly where I was during the attacks and how it has impacted my life, and the lives of loved ones and neighbors around the globe.

It was economically devastating in many ways for many people. You can look all over the Internet and find that literally millions of jobs have been lost in the years since as a result. Many found themselves in the Network Marketing / MLM home based business industry in search of ways to make more money to support their families.

Speaking for myself, I can tell you that it was a very trying time.  Maybe it was for you as well.  But I have great news.  You had the fortitude and you are still here today. Your resilience to keep going no matter what changes have come about over the last 7 years have proven your fortitude.

Your fortitude is necessary in you making money in your Network Marketing / MLM home based business on the Internet.  I know that all of the “gurus” are telling you how they “recruited 10,000 people into their team while rolling over in their beds spending 15 minutes a day on their laptops and yachting in Tahiti.” I promise you, if they are doing it, they did not get their overnight.

So don’t be discouraged.  Making money in your Internet network marketing / MLM home based business takes fortitude.  This is especially true because you are doing something controversial.

I have been in the Network Marketing / MLM home based business off and on for a little over 10 years now.  The Internet has been part of my money making Network Marketing / MLM home based business strategy at this point for about 9 months.

Recently a friend of mine was telling me how much she admired me because I was a "risk taker," when it came to money.  She was refering to my involvement in Internet Network Marketing / MLM home based business.  Although she meant it as a compliment, and I was humbled by the thought, I couldn’t resist addressing what I considered a flaw in her interpretation of my activities.

Her story is not a unique one.  Families all over are feeling the pinch of this down economy and are in money crisis. (In fact a major bank in this area just "laid-off," a bunch of people). They all know that they need a home based business (including my dear friend), for extra money.
