This is about putting your children in the best schools and universities because money is not an issue.  This about your parents being able to retire in dignity and not reduce their life-styles in their golden years.  This about you having the ability  to spend the time with the people that you care about and love the most.  This is about you being able to buy the best quality organic foods for your health.  This is about you earning an honest living without the politics, back biting and corruption of corporate America and government.

We are talking about acquiring the life-stylye that you want.  Friends, I live in the Atlanta, GA area.  I know couples and single parents that commute 2hours each way every day to and from the J.O.B..  People like this who are in Network Marketing / MLM because they are looking for opportunity should not be sold “a bill of goods.”

They should not have to endure losing friends, faking it til they make it, sabotaging their own success, because they are not being taught how to market in business.  Every industry is “living.”  What I mean is that it is moving, growing in one direction or the other (good or bad).  This means that the market and the way to market changes. 

With all that is at stake in the lives of our team members, I think that it is irresponsible or naive at best to ignore market trends and technology in feeble attempts to avoid the unavoidable  which is change.  We cannot continue to tell 97% of network marketers who are failing miserably in their Home Based Businesses, to “follow the system” and not to “Re-invent the wheel.” That is counter productive, and no other industry on the planet would push that agenda.

Sure ”systems work and people fail.”  But what happens when people are working failing systems?  As my ”next-state neighbors” in the great state of Alabama would say, “That dog don’t hunt.”   If it is broke…. fix it.  How many Thursday night hotel meetings, home parties, and seminars must one go to before it is ok to explore making adjustments to your marketing strategies?

Technology is here to stay and whether we like it or not, every person turns to it to enhance every part of their lives.  This includes their home based business.  For those of us that have had success in traditional Network Marketing / MLM practices, but have now discovered the practicality of using the internet to build our home based businesses, and make money online, have a responsibility to “pass it on.”

“Re-inventing the wheel” and changing with the times by adding the internet to the marketing mix of any Network Marketing /MLM Home Based Business  will be the great equalizer of this industry.  As more leaders start to embrace the money making capacity, high, quality targeted lead generation and true duplication of internet marketing, we will chip away at that 97% failure rate and see many more, well deserved success stories throughout this already phenomenal industry.

Merry Christmas all!  Today I was called by a nice young lady that wanted to get more information about my Network Marketing/MLM home based business opportunity.  Friends, I never met this wonderful young lady face to face or over the phone until today.  And oh yeah, did I mention that SHE CALLED ME?  I was doing some last minute shopping with my beautiful daughter, and hadn’t even thought of prospecting a single person ( which is new to this 10 year off and on Network Marketer), and she called me!   How was this lead generated?  The internet!

The holiday season is generally slow in the Network Marketing industry.  Most MLM Home Based Business owners expect to make little money during this time of year.  Their stable of leads dwindle, as most “consumers” are putting out financial fires and “can’t see the forest for the trees.”   This usually leaves most MLMers with slim pickings for recruits.  But for those of use who have decided to go the road less traveled, and use the internet for online Network Marketing, we become prospected to be prospected by the pick of the litter in serious Home Based Business Opportunity seekers.

The vastness of the internet makes your reach unlimited.  But by utilizing an online system that generates, qualified leads that are looking, you have shifted leverage and put yourself in the drivers seat.  Now when you actually prospect for your Network Marketing / MLM Home Based Business you have a “long list.”  And every seasoned Network Marketing professional understands that a “long list” is in direct proportion to your money/cash flow.

Hello Everyone.  How is your posture while generating leads for your Network Marketing/MLM home based business? Posture is crucial in determining how much money will be made in any business transaction.  What if I told you that using the internet or working online would improve your posture?

It has mine.  After 10 years off and on in the Network Marketing/MLM home based business industry, by usint the internet my posture is finally where it needs to be. No longer am I so focused on making money that I am constantly using techniques like FORM (Friends, Opportunity, Recreation and Money) when I meet someone to find a chance to pitch my opportunity. 

My daughter had early dismissal today which meant that there would be no car pool.  This also meant that I was going to have the opportunity to actually mingle with the other parents and a few teachers at the school.  At one time in my Network Marketing/MLM career, this was the prime opportunity to “share,” my “awesome,” home based business with them.  I mean everyone needs more money, right?  Especially at this school where tuition is a pretty penny let me tell you.  But now that I’m on the internet I am attracting more people to me and I am able to foster good relationships with other 3rd grade parents.

In fact I have to remind myself to pay attention and give them the opportunity to ask me about what I do.  It is great being asked to be prospected.

Since the introduction of the internet as a home based business marketing tool, there has been controversy surrounding it’s relevance in the Network Marketing/MLM industry and its ability to make money from it.

Many companies in the Network Marketing/MLM industry have adopted the definition of insanity as being, and I am paraphrasing here, ”Continuing to do the same thing with the expectation of different results.”  I heard somewhere that this was a definition coined by Einstein.  Never researched to verify it’s origin, but I think it makes a good “common-sense,” (which I am sure every seasoned Network Marketing/MLM professional has discovered is not common at all), definition. 

One of the biggest draws to Network Marketing/MLM Home Based Business is our offer to STOP the Insanity of working 40 years, for 40 hours a week, with the intention of living off of 40%, of what most people can not live on at 100%.

Yet, so many Network Marketing/ MLM companies encourage their home based business owners to act insanely.  People are told to continue to do what has not been working for them, ie. 1) prospecting everyone within 3 feet of them,  2)buying leads, 3) going back to their warm markets again and again 4) passing out company literature and business cards at coffee shops etc. 

There are some people that do well at those activities, maybe 1%.   But guess what, it does not duplicate.  Personally, I’ve built Network Marketing/MLM Home Based Businesses in various different companies into the thousands, but doing it the old way, only produced about 2 people that were able to duplicate.

From a business standpoint, when you are getting those kinds of results you need to revisit your processes.  It is called “Continuous Improvement.”  Something is wrong in your Network Marketing/MLM Home Based Business building process if you are not getting the results that you want.  This means you need to make adjustments and try something different.

Look at it this way.  No company executive would tell you to continue to do something that is not working, because if they did, they might not being an executive for long.  You are the Chief Executive Officer of your Network Marketing/MLM Home Based Business.  Not making “Continuous Improvements” in your business processes when you are not getting the desired results is ”insane!”

“The Crazy Fly.”   A good friend of mine and very successful internet Network Marketer/MLMer shared an interesting analogy with me in a book he read today.  See if you can relate this to your Home Based business.

Here is the analogy.  There is a fly that wants to exit a room.  It begins to fly into the closed window and drops to the floor.  With great tenacity it gets up an tries again, and again and again,to meet the same end.  It dusts itself off, backs up and with greater determination slams into the window again.  Eventually, the fly is bruised, battered, exhausted and dies (or quits).  See any similarity in your Network Marketing/MLM Home Based Business?

Here is the irony, 5 feet to the right was an open window.  It could have explored what was right next to it and been flying high today.

When you make money online in your Network Marketing/MLM Home Based business it is “FUN.” 

Yes, I said fun.  You know it’s not just for kids anymore, don’t you?  One could argue that if people had more fun they would be more successful.  You’ve heard those other rich, wealth creation gurus say, “The secret to becoming wealthy is to find something that you like to do and do it.”

Sounds easy enough right?  Well, remember the feeling that you felt when you first came across your particular opportunity?  Even though you might have met it with some resistance at first glance, there was probably that moment when the light bulb went on in your head and you “Got it!”

You said to yourself, “This thing makes perfect sense!”  “This way of making money is genius!”  Many of you said, “Anybody can do this!”  And you started counting in your head all of the contacts that you knew and better yet thinking of all of the people that they knew.”  Clearly this was it!  This was the perfect business venture.  Network Marketing/MLM was going to allow you to own a Home Based Business and have fun making money with your friends.

By the end of the presentation, you concluded that you would have a small fortune by the end of the month.  Then it happened, you started the process and began ”sharing” the story of this wonderful opportunity and product or service that you discovered.

What happened next defied logic.  You got rejected.  I am not going to go through any here.  Or any of the techniques that you were taught to overcome those objections, because they are too many to list here.  Bottom line…it was not fun.

You probably do have a great product or service that people can afford, need or want.  The company is probably sound, and has strong financials. (note: this is a basic necessity).  And your prospects still tell you “no?” What a downer when you go after people who just don’t get it right?  So what are you told to do? Get more “no”s.  That is even more of a downer.

Well that’s the “problem “(not challenge).  A problem can be solved, a challenge can be overcome.  You can solve the problem of chasing “no”s.  STOP doing it.  There you go problem solved.

Now here is the “fun “part.  Have the “Yes”s chase you.  Your time should be spent helping those people that are looking for you.  After all, this is what you knew was supposed to happen when you first started down this journey.

You found this great opportunity called Network Marketing that was going to give you more time, and money.  Isn’t that fun?  But if you are like most Network Marketers/MLMers you did not get either.  

Online your Homebased Network Marketing/MLM Business will allow you to make money and give you more time.  Like minded, fun loving people come to me to get into business with me.  

And so it is with you, once you learn the secrets to attracting the right indivduals to you and your business.

Have fun in your business again.  Have fun building your business.  Attract the like minded fun loving people that deserve this opportunity.  Get that feeling back that you had when you first discovered the answer to your dreams.  You are a winner!

You Making Money Online in your Network Marketing Business is essential to avoiding the “duplication” myth of Network Marketing and MLM.

Myth? You may be asking yourself how can duplication be a myth? One of the appeals of the Network Marketing/MLM industry is that it is promoted as a business that anyone can do if they follow the “S.Y.S.T.E.M.”(Save Yourself Some Time Energy and Money).

Meaning that:

1. You do not need the formal education provided by our colleges and universities, and that you are not kept out of the industry by the high cost of starting your business in a traditional business, and
2. All one must do to be successful in this industry are a few simple activities on a daily basis which will over time, go “through the numbers” and eventually “duplicate” throughout your organization causing EXPLOSVE exponential growth!

Let me say here that #1 is absolutely right on!  Although, I am proud to say that I do have a post graduate degree, that I worked really hard for and learned quite a bit.  It has however, contributed very little, if at all, to any of the success that I have experienced in this industry using the “old way” of Network Marketing. My relaxed grammar and a few typos in my blog posts will attest to that.;-) In fact, many of my mentors, who are some of the most successful Network Marketers in the industry, had barely finished High School. One of them would always say that he “would rather say I “IS” rich, instead of I “am” poor!”

On the other hand, my experience with criteria #2 is that this is a RARE exception and not the rule. Here is the reason why. It suggestst that most human beings are logical and not emotional creatures. Meaning that they will accept the theory and plan on paper and then go execute it, defer their gratification of getting a steady income, ignore rejection, ignore the ridicule of their family and best friends, to go through “the numbers” and meet that great end of success. Yeah, right.

If this were the case, the United States of America would not be so addicted to fast food and sweets and hold the title as the most obese nation on the planet. Every single citizen of this nation knows that in order to be healthy we can’t eat that stuff. But we are not logical. We are indeed emotional creatures.

The truth is NOT everyone can do this business the “old way.”  It takes a special person to stay focused and endure that kind of opposition. To overcome the conditioning that has been programmed into them since birth, requires a certain kind of mindset. Please be not mistaken. Those same successful “MLMers,” that I mentioned earlier, who barely finished high-school and marketed the “old way,” are some of the most charismatic, self confident, strong minded and in many instances, bull-headed people that you will ever meet. lol! Many of them had lost all other options and COULD NOT quit even if they wanted to. And thus, they stayed the course.

This my friend, cannot be duplicated.  You cannot teach those characteristics. Nor, can you orchestrate, (nor would you want to), such dire circumstances for your prospects or team members. Most people “start” their Network Marketing/MLM business but never finish it.  They usually start with a pipe dream of making money in their home based MLM business and quit when they do not recruit the world and make a million dollars in a week.  But since they didn’t lose anything or made their initial investment back, it is comfortable to quit.  They are no longer “Willing” to continue. But wait a minute, aren’t we suppose to work with the “Willing?”

How does the average person who isn’t that exceptional super duper, self confident leader, find the “Willing,” if there are so many people that they have to go through to get to them, and they themselves don’t have the time or the confidence to do it? Easily, they don’t.
They allow the “Willing,” to find them. They make their money with their Network Marketing or MLM home based business online. The future go getters, are hungry and are looking for something and where do the movers and shakers and even the average knowledge seekers go to find out how to do this? Is it the local coffee shop, mall or grocery store hoping and waiting for someone to drop an opportunity flier or business cards in their lap? I dare say no. They go to ….ready…..drum roll….the INTERNET!

Making money online in your Nework Marketing/MLM home based business is true duplication.  You simply establish yourself and formula online and it takes your personal self confidence out of the equation.  The leads then find you.  It allows the ”Willing,” prospects to find you and qualify themselves to you.  The “Willing,” then continue to sort themselves out letting you know who is a true prospect, and where to put the majority of your energies.

Instead of wondering which hit or miss local leader will being doing the meeting for that week, and then trying to “sell” (not share) to people who are not “Willing;” your team members will copy your step by step formula to make money online with your home based Network Marketing/MLM business and begin to attract the “Willing” to them, thereby making “Duplication” in YOUR Network Marketing/ MLM business a reality and no longer a Myth like so many others.

Let’s build wealth and make money in your Network Marketing buisness online! If you are new to Network Marketing or MLM, you probably had that in mind in the first place when you got started. However, your upline sponsor probably stressed against that and suggested (or should I say insisted?) that you should abandon that idea and follow the “SYSTEM” which consists of exposing or “sharing” the opportunity with your warm market (ie. family, friends and neighbors) first and then your cold market (everyone that is within 3 feet of you). After that, the you probably heard somewhere that when all else fails, all of the”heavy-hitters” buy qualified leads. Sound familiar?

Question: How has that marketing strategy been working for you? Got any friends left? Is your team growing leaps and bounds? Are you making money in your Home Based MLM Business? If you answered YES to any of these questions, “AWESOME”! Keep up the goodwork! It is obviously working for you.

If your results are a little different, then this blog is for YOU! My story is that I was raised in the inner city of Washington DC by a single mother. Now, I am a single dad of a phenomenal daughter. With a graduate degree in business and some high profile success in corporate America, government, traditional business and even some notable accomplishments in the “old- school ” way of network marketing, I knew that there had to be a way to harness the power of network Marketing and the Internet to make money on the internet in ANY Home Based MLM business.

But how right? I mean, no doubt it has been proven time and time again that Network Marketing is a powerful means of creating wealth for anyone that gets good at doing it. Financial Gurus like the iconic figures of Donald Trump and Robert Kiosaki have endorsed the industry. All of the fights in the media over the years that the industry has won. And finally the countless multiples of people that have been able to change their family legacy as a result of this industry all establish the Network Marketing/MLM industry as the “not so” new frontier of wealth creation.

Now couple that with the unlimited reach of the World Wide Web, and the opportunity for anyone to tap into markets not limited by borders, and you have potentially the most powerful wealth creation tool on the history of the planet! What was puzzling was that I had not come across anyone that was talking about it. In fact, my experience was that most leaders in these companies shunned it and the concept was treated like taboo.

But friends, as a single dad with serious responsibilities, I had to look further. Certainly this tool called the World Wide Web could not possibly be set up to only be uesed by Big Business. The search led me here. I found that the internet is indeed the new revolution in Network Marketing. I’m watching peoples lives change before my eyes. People who went months and even years in Network Marketing without any success, soaring to the top of their companies. They did it by marrying Network Marketing and the internet! Those that take advantage of this untapped market will reach heights beyond their wildest dreams. Sooo, let’s make money on the internet in ANY home based! You can do it!
